Forklift Driver – Clamp Forklift & Warehouse Logistics

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading household appliances in a busy warehouse environment. You will operate a forklift to transport products such as washing machines, refrigerators, dryers and cookers, making sure everything is handled safely and efficiently.

You will also work with a specialized clamp forklift, which is used to move household appliances without pallets. Experience with this type of forklift is an advantage, but not required, as you will have the opportunity to learn how to operate it.

In addition to operating forklifts, you will help stack and store products in the warehouse, scan and register goods and keep the working environment clean and organized. You will work together with colleagues to make sure daily logistics operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts to load, unload and move household appliances
• Using a clamp forklift to handle products safely
• Moving washing machines, dryers, refrigerators and other household appliances
• Stacking and storing products in the warehouse
• Scanning and registering incoming and outgoing goods
• Handling products carefully to prevent damage
• Following safety procedures when operating warehouse equipment
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organized
• Working together with colleagues to complete daily logistics tasks

About the role

In this position, you will work at Vonk & Co in Tiel through Weflex Personeelsdiensten. Vonk & Co is a family-owned company specializing in the logistics and transportation of household appliances.

You will work in a warehouse where products such as washing machines, dryers, refrigerators and cookers are handled, stored and prepared for transport.

There are positions available in both day shifts and rotating shifts.

The working hours are:

• Day shift: 07:00–16:00
• Rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 14:30 until the end of the shift

Employees working rotating shifts receive an additional 8.75% shift allowance.

What we ask from you

• You have experience operating a forklift
• A valid forklift certificate is preferred
• Experience operating a clamp forklift is an advantage, but not required
• You are motivated and willing to learn how to operate a clamp forklift
• You work accurately and have good spatial awareness
• You are reliable and take responsibility for your work
• You can work independently and as part of a team
• You follow safety procedures and handle products carefully
