Containment systems

The government is increasingly demanding that storage tanks and other industrial processes are placed in a watertight container, also called a containment system.

Prokol delivers a range of polyurea coatings specially for this use under the name Rocathaan. Rocathaan polyurea coatings are resistant to many chemicals and have special properties with regard to tensile strength, wear resistance and resistance to mechanical loads.

All of these properties together means that a Rocathaan polyurea coating leaves most of the other coatings far behind.

This liner is applied with a special spray machine. The hot spray system hardens in a few seconds and seamlessly follows the surface on which it is applied. This ensures that every detail is included in the seal and that it is made fully watertight.

The short reaction time of a Rocathaan polyurea coating ensures that the system can be walked on within a couple of minutes after it has been applied.
